From Invercargill head noth on North Road State Highway 6 out of town and turn left onto Wallacetown Lorneville Highway State Highway 99. Continue through Wallacetown and Riverton. When you get to Colac turn left on either Colac Bay Road or Colac Foreshore Road and park near the beach.
