Diners Beach is a beach break on a golden sand beach, located on Mahia Peninsula's south east coast. The beach is quite long with several peaks down the beach to choose from offering both right and left handers. Mahia South East Coast is fairly remote and you may find the beach all to yourself. The waves are often punchy and powerful. Mahia South East Coast is very exposed, so usually has good swell but also gets strong on shore winds, so pick your day by viewing all the reports. The Spit is located just south of the Mahia township, you can't miss it when your driving past.The left is often slightly better than the right, but both sides of the spit are top quality. The waves are steep and hollow, steep dropins and good barrels. Leave this one to the experts.
