Glenduan

Glenduan is a right hand point break on a rocky shoreline, at the north end of the boulder bank, Glenduan. The wave is fast and hollow with steep drops and good lenght rides. It will often have sections you won't make and a dredging closeout to finish. Don't go out the the end of the point on the outside break as its too shallow. Leave this one to advanced and expert surfers only. Careful getting in and out on the rocks/boulders.

Rabbit Island

Rabbit Island is a beach break on a sandy beach. There are lots of peaks down the beach to choose from, with both right and left handers. The wave is fairly fat and slow, great for learning or taking the mal out. Worth check the ends of the island for better bar breaks.

Cable Bay

Cable Bay is a left hand point break along the rocky shore line, onto a sandy beach. The is hollow and fast with a gnarly drop over shallow rocks. This place can get good, but watch out for the rocks. Best for advanced to expert surfers only.

Delaware Bay

Delaware Bay is a left hand bar break at the river mouth and onto a sandy beach. Delaware is fairly inconsistant as it needs just the right conditions to get it working. When its on the wave dredges up into a hollow left hand barrel. Best for intermediate to expert surfers. You need to walk across the mud flats and paddle across the river to get to the beach. River mouths often have strong currents or rips, so watch out.

Whangamoa

Whangamoa is a beach break on a sandy beach, with a river/inlet mouth. there are several peaks down the beach to choose from with both right and left handers. best around the river/inlet mouth. Can get good punchy, fun waves. Suitable for all levels. River mouths often have strong currents or rips, so watch out.
