From Nelson head south on State Highway 6 and continue past Stoke and Richmond. Then turn right at the big roundabout onto Appleby Road, State Highway 60 (sign posted to Mapua/Motueka). Turn right onto Mapua Drive, then left onto Stafford Road. Head down to the west end of the beach just past Brabant Drive and find a park near the point. May need a short walk along to the point.
