Karamea
Karamea is a beach break and river mouth bar on a soft shingle beach. You can surf any where along this section of coastline where you will find various peaks to choose from all the way along. The wave is usually punchy and can get a hollow shorey. Best for intermediate to expert surfers. River mouths often have strong currents and rips, so watch out.
