Tautuku
Tautuku is a beach break on a sandy beach, in the senic Catlins region. There are several peaks down the beach to choose from with both left and right handers. The wave has good power producing some gnarly drop ins and fun sections. Suitable for all levels of surfer. It gets colder down this area, so wear plenty of rubber.

From Dunedin head South on State Highway 1. When you get to Balclutha turn left onto High Street (Signs to Owaka), then turn right onto Owaka Highway. When you get to Owaka turn left onto Papatowai Highway and continue on through Papatowai, onto Chaslands Highway and turning left on to Tautuku Road down to the beach.
