Waimarama Beach
Waimarama Beach is a beach break on a sandy beach, with a rocky point. There are many peaks down the beach offering both left and right handers, witha bit more of a right hander near the rocks at the southern end. The wave is punchy and fun. Good for surfers of all levels.

From Hastings head east on Heretaunga Street East, which turns into Havelock Road, through to Havelock North. In Havelock North turn left onto Karanema Drive, then turn left onto Te Mata Road. Turn right onto Waimarama Road. Continue on Waimarama Road, then turn left onto Harper Road, down to the southern end of the beach.
