Tangoio Beach is a beach break on a shingle beach, located North of Napier. There are several peaks down the beach to choose from, with both left and right handers. The wave is a punchy shorey wave. Good for intermediate to expert surfers.

From Napier city head west on Thackeray Street, then continue on to Hyderabad Road, State Highway 2. Continue on State Highway 2, then turn right on to Main North Road, State Highway 2 out of Napier heading north. When you get to Tangoio, turn right on to Tangoio Settlement Road, then turn right on to Beach Road and take this all the way down to the beach.
