Cray Bay

Cray Bay is a left hand point break on a rocky point, located a long walk south over the hills from Waimarama Beach. The wave is big and powerful, with a steep drop in and hollow barrels. Serious waves here, experts only. There are several other point breaks nearby, between Waimarama Beach and Red Island, that also produce excellent surf.
