Mahanga Point
Mahanga Point is a left hand point break on a sandy beach with a boulder point, located at the northern end of Mahanga Beach. The waves are soft but wally, and give nice long rides. Good for mals and shortboards. Suitable for all levels of surfer.

Directions
From Napier, head north on Pandora Road State Highway 2, onto Meeanee Quay and Main North Road out of the city. Continue on State Highway 2 through Wairoa, then at Nuhaka go straight through the roundabout onto Nuhaka Opoutama Road. Continue straight onto Mahanga Road. When coming into Mahanga turn right onto Blakes Approach and left onto Judges parade. head to the northern end of the beach and find the left hand point along the boulders.
