Long Bay
Long Bay is a beach break/reef break on a sandy/rocky beach, located at Long Bay, Torbay on Aucklands North shore. There are several peaks along the beach with both right and left handers. The wave is mellow and fat, but can be fun. Watch out for shallow rocks off the point. Good for beginner to expert surfers. This break can get crowded, so know the rules and repect the locals.

Long Bay is located in the suburb of Torbay, north of Devonport on Aucklands north shore, east coast.
From Auckland, head north on Auckland Northern Motorway, State Highway 1, over the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Take exit 410, then turn right onto Oteha Valley Road. Continue onto Carlisle Road, then turn left onto Beach Road. Turn right onto Rewi Street, then find a park on Cliff Road and the reef is right out in front.
