Fishermans Reef is located on the way out to Shakespear Park in the Hauraki Gulf on Aucklands east coast. From Auckland, head north on Auckland Northern Motorway, State Highway 1, over the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Take exit 398, then turn right onto Hibiscus Coast Highway. Turn right onto Whangaparaoa Road out towards Gulf Harbour. On the north side from Gulf harbour find the point a short walk, at the bottom of a cliff.
